Case Study: Paramount's Carowinds

Challenge: Paramount's Carowinds wanted to reach out to the business community to increase group picnic bookings. The park asked us to create a mailer that would generate new sales leads and gather information about area companies for more effective sales calls.

Action: We designed a full-color lead generator to target 8,000 regional businesses. The mailing happened a few days before the Academy Awards, so the design and copy capitalized on that timing. We also revamped the business reply card in order to gather specific information needed by the sales representatives. Finally, we worked with the park and the mailing house to ensure we had a complete and accurate mailing list.

Result: The group sales mailer received a high response rate from regional businesses. The mailer garnered much needed data, reached more potential clients due to fewer returns, and helped create new sales leads. We produced this piece on a tight schedule and stayed within the client's budget.
